Magnetic circuit protectors (MCPs) are devices that limit inrush currents by providing a low impedance path for the initial surge of current, and then quickly dropping out of the circuit once the inrush current has subsided. MCPs are typically used to protect sensitive electronic equipment from damage during power-up, but can also be used to provide protection from brief power surges or voltage spikes.

MCPs are available in a variety of designs, but all share a common basic structure: a magnetic core surrounding a coil of wire. When an electric current flows through the coil, it produces a magnetic field that saturates the core, making it electrically conductive. This provides a low impedance path for the initial surge of current. Once the inrush current subsides, the magnetic field collapses and the MCP returns to its non-conductive state.CVP-TH Series magnetic circuit protectors provide low-cost power switching, reliable circuit protection and accurate circuit control for equipment in the international marketplace.

CVP-TH Series meet IEC spacing requirements. In addition, they are UL Recognized as supplementary protectors per UL 1077, UL 489 , TUV Approved (EN60934), CCC Approved and CE Compliant.

The actuator support with Long Handle Actuator,Short Handle Actuator,Flat Rocker Actuator and Angle Rocker Actuator.The Number of Poles is 1p,2p,3p,4p,Barriers with UL489 certificate.AC max Voltage rating is 250V and DC max Voltage rating is 80V.Current rating amperes is 0.5-50A:1A \ 2A \ 3A \ 4A \ 6A \ 8A \ 10A \ 12A \ 16A \ 20A \ 25A \ 30A \ 32A \ 40A \ 50A.

One important feature of this protector line is a “trip free” action, which means the circuit will trip in the presence of an overload even though the handle is held in the ON position. The delay mechanism senses the fault and the contacts open.
